United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Any woman may become a member if she chooses to join and commit herself to the PURPOSE of the organization. Women of the United Methodist Church are not automatically members of the United Methodist Women. Membership is for those women who wish to participate through giving, prayer, study, action, or service. All Methodist women are welcome and are encouraged to belong. Non-members of the United Methodist Church may also join.
AGAPE GROUP meets IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL at the church for a program at 10:30 AM on the first Monday of each month except June, July, September, and December.
TRINITY UNITED METHODIST WOMEN is a unit of interested, enthusiastic, and active women. Any woman may become a member if she chooses to join and commit herself to the PURPOSE of the organization. Membership is for those women who wish to participate through giving, prayer, study, action, or service. All Methodist women are welcome and are encouraged to belong. Non-members of the United Methodist Church may also join.
As a unit pledged to missions, the group supports UMCOR, Bright Future for Children and Youth, and Red Bird Mission. They make an annual pledge to Missions; give World Thank Offerings, and give an offering during the Call to Prayer and Self-Denial. They participate in Bible Studies, spiritual enrichment activities, and the Reading Program. The group also selects projects for special services to individuals and families in the community; provides service in the church, to the sick, handicapped, and people in nursing homes; serves the church with meal preparation and supplies; and seeks to give care and love to all.
Our next UMW meeting is scheduled for Monday February 7th at 10:30 am. Jane will present our Pledge Service and we will discuss various upcoming events and projects. Be sure to bring your new 2022 yearbook for notes and to fill in upcoming events on the calendar. ALSO....Please bring one non-perishable food item from your pantry on your way to out the door to the meeting on the 7th. The food will be donated to the Wesley House Food Bank (in addition to our monthly Vienna Sausage donation). The item will bless someone that is truly hungry and probably won’t be missed in our pantries. Thank you! In January we donated 99 cans of Vienna Sausage to Wesley House! This is real- ly impressive since we only had one in-person church in January (as of this writ- ing). Way to go Trinity!! Please stay safe and healthy.
