On Monday, December 1, at 10:30 am in the Fellowship Hall our Trinity Methodist Women will join together to share and enjoy a Baby Shower for the mothers and their children at Susannah’s House, a residential program for expecting moms struggling with addiction. We will collect new, unwrapped items for newborns and toddlers. We have been asked to not bring diapers as they have a source already. All women are welcome and we hope you can join us for some good fellowship time together.
Good Samaritan Thanksgiving Baskets
We Thank You!!
Your generosity resulted in gifts of more than $2100 to provide Thanksgiving meals through The Good Samartan Center Thanksgiving Basket distribution. The Good Samaritan Center provides 400 generous boxes of traditional Thanksgiving foods to families in Loudon County.

Lenoir City Schools Santa's Helper Gifts:
Again, this year Trinity has partnered with our LC Schools Family Resource Center (FRC) to sponsor five children as part of their Santa's Helper outreach. This year our children are from one family. Willy is 15, Dilan, 11, Diego 7, with their sister, Natalia, 5 and rounding out the family is Samuel who is 18 months old. What a wonderful family!!
We receive from each child a list of three toys or gifts they would like. Then we are given their sizes for shoes, pants, shirt, socks, coat along with their favorite color. With all this important info our Outreach committee goes to work to fill all their wishes and their needs. It's a very fun time shopping and then wrapping those gifts to go under our Trinity Christmas tree for dedication on Sunday, December 7th.
If we would like to participate as a Santa's Helper, please write "Santa's Helper" on the memo line of your check or offering envelope. We will share in an offering on both Sunday, November 23rd and November 30th. We anticipate spending between $250 to $300 this year per child. We promise great delight with big smiles when the children open their gifts on Christmas morning. Thank You for always sharing the Spirit of the Season by continuing to make a difference in the lives of so many.

Trinity UMC is continuting to support the work of Loudon County Habitat for Humanity by providing lunches on Tuesday when there is work at a site.
We also have dedicated volunteers who are serving on building teams.
If you want to be part of this or future projects in anyway, contact the church office and you will be referred to one of our coordinators, or use the prayer request form below to send a message.

We practice Yoga in the Fellowship Hall, 10:15 am every Thursday. The session is about one hour. There is no charge and everyone is welcome to attend.

Donations for Wesley House Food Pantry: The UMW will continue collecting cans of Vienna sausages for the Wesley House the first Sunday of each month. They are also currently in need of jars of peanut butter and canned tuna (dolphin safe). Please place donations in the baskets in the education hallway. Thank you!

THANK YOU WENDEL AND FRIENDS FOR AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!
Two young women (immigrants) from Lenoir City were arrested by ICE in July, even though they had legal status. They were sent to an ICE detention facility in Louisiana for deportation. Fortunately, with legal help, they were released with a court date. Their father, also with a legal work permit, was also moved from affirmative to defensive asylum court. Though free now, they remain in jeopardy. Funds from this concert will be used to help with legal fees and other critical expenses.

Faith is more than what happens on Sunday mornings. It's a part of who we are, inside and out. At Trinity UMC Lenoir City, we believe in growing as disciples in order to share the LOVE of Jesus Christ with our community and the world.
