The Rev. Kimberly S. Isley is our Pastor.  She is a native of Louisville, Kentucky.  Pastor Kim graduated from The University of Louisville and Southern Seminary.  After her 1993 ordination and graduation, Kim moved to Knoxville, Tennessee for two years of Chaplain Residency.

Rev. Isley was first appointed as the Associate Pastor of Fountain City United Methodist Church in 1996.  A Full Connection Elder in Holston Conference since 2000, she pastored churches in both Maryville and Knoxville Districts before coming to Trinity in June of 2009.  In addition to a variety of District and Conference responsibilities, Kim has been active in community service.  She is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Loudon County.  She earlier completed Community Leadership of Knoxville in 1997 and Leadership Monroe, 1999.  She has mentored candidates for pastoral ministry, and has volunteered as a reading tutor for both GED and Elementary School students.

Kim is married to The Rev. Bill Beard, Pastor of Martel UMC.  They are the parents of Kaitlin.  The family resides in the Trinity parsonage in Lenoir City.



 Music Department

Carroll Logan is our Music Director. Carroll and wife Brenda are graduates of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Carroll has served many churches in music, and Brenda has been a Christian educator.  In addition, they have owned gift shops and Carroll has a variety of other business interests. Walter Hines has been Organist at Trinity for 40 years.  Trinity has always been his family church; and Walter has helped maintain its historical integrity.   Walter teaches social studies at Lenoir City Middle School.   Our pianist, Jennifer Gibson, and her husband, David, reside in Kingston. Jennifer comes to us from another church in this area.


Youth & Children

Ryan Heatherly is the Youth Director. He is a declared candidate for ministry in the United Methodist Church. Ryan received his MBA from UT in 2008. He is married to Beth and lives in Knoxville. Penny Finn is Children’s Director (from pre-school through 5th grade).  She and husband Haven have one daughter, Shelbylynn.  Penny has worked with children through the church, through the school system, and through Girl Scouts. Penny also works in the cafeteria at Lenoir City High School.




Stephanie Massey is the Administrative Assistant.  She works in the church office 5 days a week from  8:30 am to 12:30.  She and her family live in Lenoir City and have 4 children. Gaylon McDaniel is the Building and Grounds Caretaker.  Gaylon lives across the street in a previous Trinity church parsonage. He is also groundskeeper at Executive Meadows, and has taught Sunday School classes at Trinity.
